Baseball Season

We finally made it to one of our nephew Felix's (aka Chavo) t-ball games. This is his first year playing and it was so fun to watch. Much like his older sister he shows absolutely no emotion when playing sports. He could have hit a grand-slam and not even bust a smile. I have no idea why they are like this.

He is one of the oldest on the team and one of the best players. He is the only boy in our family and he is completely adored by us all. Since he is a twin it's rare to go to something that is just for him.

The games lasted one hour. Each inning consisted of each player on the team hitting once. They took one base at a time. And after each player got a turn it was time for the other team to hit. I thought it was a great way to introduce kids to the game.

I know he is my nephew but Felix is one beautiful boy. Great game Chavo! We had a great time cheering you on.

Go A's!

6, 6 and 13

After the soccer game last weekend we had a little birthday party for Chone, Lili and Felix. We had such a great time. Even though it was just us and the Nosey Neighbors we managed to have a full on birthday party.  The whole family got in on the party game action.

First there was a rap battle between Tia Uh-laine and I. I thought I had it but in the end Lili did an Eeny-Meeny-Minny-Moe and I lost.

There was a great round of pictionary.

Phi's drawing of a pinata was amazing!

We had a contest to see who could bounce a balloon with their head without it falling. I was leading with 21! 21 people! Until dang Tia Uh-laine got 25. She beat me again!

There was some freeze dance fun. Until Chone ended up on the floor.

We got a very very nice surprise when Cousins Raymond, Flavia and little Ethan showed up! It was so great to see them. Lou had someone to talk to. It was so cute to hear these 2 babble back and forth. I swear they could understand each other.

"So does your Mom not let you jump off the couch too? Yea they are totally lame."

It was time for gifts!! Even though Chone is now 13, my Mom still strategically placed a sign on the Abercrombie bag. No half nekkid guys for Chone! haha

The twins were stoked with all the gifts. It was raining 3ds stuff!

Since the party landed on National Banana Split Day my sister had a banana split bar instead of cake.

The fact that the 4 little ones sat still and quite while eating tells us that they were a hit.

When I saw the next 2 pictures I had to laugh. See-saw eating.

Happy Birthday my loves. We had a great day celebrating you 3.

Go Green Ninjas!

Here at Casa Punk Rock Parents we are the opposite of morning people. Like we are as far from morning people as you can get. But for our Felix we dragged our butts out of bed early ON A SATURDAY to be on the road by 6:30 AM to be at his very first soccer game! Even with a Starbucks stop we made it to the game right on time!

Here is our #4 ready to play!

Look at this face. This is one focused soccer player.

There he goes!!

Going right for the ball.

Goal for the Green Ninjas!

And the crowd goes wild!

Or they just hang out talking and laughing......

Felix had the biggest cheering section! He had a few rough practices at first but he did awesome at his first game. We are really really proud of him.

The girlies with the sign we made, because of course we made a sign!

We had such a good time cheering him on! I predict that by the end of the season he will be an awesome soccer player.

Go Green Ninjas!

Happy Birthday Pops!

My sisters and I have a good balance between worry-warts and happy-go-lucky.
Pops thanks for giving us your happy-go-luck attitude.
For showing us that laughter is the best medicine.
Happy Birthday.
Have a great time in Vegas.

We love you so so much,
Joey, Cooties, The Flea and LOU!

What the F is happening to me?

Me, now.  So when I started this blog about 20 years ago it was a way to share my journey becoming a parent. I now have a 20 year old headin...
