I LOVE to read. At the beginning of the year I like to challenge myself to read a certain number of books. For 2013 Joey decided to give me a different challenge. Because I tend to find one author and read everything they ever wrote, Joey decided I needed more variety. Something more challenging. So he challenged me to read a book from authors a-z. Sounds easy right?
Wrong!
When I got to the "U" and "X" letters is was really tough.

Of course I completed the challenge (IN YOUR FACE JOEY) but vowed to never do it again. What I really didn't like was that I wasn't able to read some books I really wanted to because I didn't need that letter.
Now it's time to challenge myself for 2014. I am thinking 75 books!

ReplyDeleteIf you do the A-Z again, I've got a good "U" for you. The Devil's Highway by Luis Alberto Urrea. It is a sad, true story but so well written.
