This blog, like many blogs, tend to show off the happy and fun times of parenting. When my kids are older and looking back on their childhood I want them to have a realistic idea of what are everydays were like.
So grown-up Lou, taking care of you was not always unicorns and rainbows.

Lately Louie has been waking up in the middle of the night crying. And not just, "I woke up and I can't go back to sleep...
Carrie had fine, curly long hair, she still does, not long though. I'm going to be bossy and tell you to get some hair picks, or really wide tooth combs, to use on Lou's hair. Give one to her to use, she'll probably like that, and then it'll be easier, less tugging with these combs.
