Runs in the family...

Being crafty run in the family. My Mom is famous for her funny photoshopped photos in cards. My sister Elaine makes beautiful cakes and handmade cards, my Pops makes awesome things out of wood, I knit, crochet, embroider and take photos and Cari..... well she makes cute kids and soccer team banners!

My niece The Chone is a talented little artist. Check out this gorgeous painting she made for Lou.




Want to be more impressed. She is only 11. Technically 10 when she did this painting.

The last time we were in Santa Barbara, Chone and The Phi were inspired by my art show opening and took advantage of the giant filled craft box that my Mom keeps for the kids. They discussed their project. Decided to make something for me and keep it a secret while they worked.

It took them awhile but later in the day they presented me with this......

My very own Virgen de Guadalupe (my favorite) made by my two loves! It is my most prized art piece in my collection. I can't even begin to explain how much I love this.
