Starting to Look More Like Momma

This little yellow dress has been hanging in The Phi's closet since she was born. It is an old dress. Like almost 30 years old.

Here is the dress in 1979......


That is little ol' me at 2 years old. Since The Phi is a bit on the smaller size and I was a bit on the bigger size. (My Mom made big babies!) This dress finally fits The Phi. (She is 4 now!)

When my sister and I were little my Mom always had dressed so dainty with perfectly combed hair. Strangers would comment on how cute we were and how nice we were dressed. This next picture is a great example of how The Phi does not really grasp the concept of "dainty".


I told her to pose like me in the picture and this is what I get.

Although even I have to admit that she is starting to look more like me these days.
