They are really going ape sh**

Remember that scene from Knocked Up, where Seth Rogan and Paul Rudd are sitting at a park watching the kids playing with bubbles. And Paul Rudd says "They go ape sh** over bubbles" and Seth Rogan goes "They are really going ape sh**" Well I saw this first hand over the weekend. On a total whim we decided to take The Phi to the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. The place is very cool but never again will I take her on a Saturday. Seriously it was out of freakin control. Kids running everywhere and many with absolutely no damn manners. The Phi knows to wait her turn for things, others peoples kids not so much. I can't even tell you how many little brats just stepped right in front of The Phi to play with something. I was ready to throw someone.

Anyways, they were featuring BubbleFest and we purchased tickets to the 3:30 Bubble Show with Fan Yang. So it was time for the show and I must say I was pretty darn impressed with what this dude could do with some soap and water. But the kids, oh man the kids went wild. It was like he was thier leader and they worshipped him

They let kids sit on the floor in front of the stage and when he would blow a bubble out to them they went crazy. As if Bruce Springsteen threw his bandana into the corwd. (or a much cooler concert reference). The museum workers were constantly telling them to sit back down.

Cameras were not allowed in the show so I had to sneak this picture. It was insane. The rest of the museum was very cool too and although The Phi was kind of moody. I think she was a bit overwhelmed but she did enjoy herself.

Yes Joey laying on a bed of nails. I did it too and it was a bit uncomfortable, but very cool

There was a few things we didn't get to see so we would like to go again. But never again on a weekend.

We ended our Saturday with an awesome dinner at a very cool local pizza joint with Crystal. She is so nice and so very easy to talk to. Love that. She has a lot going on these days and will be moving out of state soon so we are taking advantage of her spring break and hanging out.

And The Phi adores her.
