...Education. This is a photo of the UC Santa Barbara campus. This is where I spent 3 of the best years of my life. I earned my B.A. in 2001 in Chicana/o Studies and in Latin American and Iberian Studies. It has the reputation of a party school, but it was one of the best places for me. I loved going here and my ultimate dream would be to one day be a professor here. If you even happen to be on campus and see a young lady in a Hermanas Unidas shirt, tell her hi from me, one of the founders of Hermanas Unidas. This organization was named the Organization of the Year last year and I could not be more proud of these girls!

ReplyDeleteMy wife and I just stopped for lunch there on Monday, April 14. We ate in IV and then walked around a bit. I don't know how anybody gets any studying done. Everyone looks great, wears flip flops, and rides bicycles. I wish I had gone to school there. Saludos.
