It's Back...

Yes American Idol is back, and yes we have already been sucked in. We were heading out on Tuesday night and we actually drove back to the house because we (Joey) had forgot to set the DVR to record American Idol. We watched the last couple of nights and already it has creeped into my subconscious. I had an "adult themed" dream about Simon last night. Yuck! Well I already have a favorite and Joey got his UFU (ultimate fighting underwear) in a bunch about it because I thought he was good looking and I said he had nice teeth. One of the last contests last night was a latino named Rudy Cardenas from LA. He sang Journey and I melted into a puddle on the floor. He mentioned he was in a band and I have already found their myspace page. So let me apologize now for the posts that are sure to come in the next few months about American Idol? Anyone else out there watching??

  2. I only caught the last hour of the Seattle auditions and I was dying laughing. Part of the conspiracy theorist in me thinks that they (the AI producers) simply recruit people off the street who they know chances are slim they can sing, slap a contestant # on them and let them make fools of themselves b/c of course it makes for good TV. I just can't believe there are that many people out there with such little talent who really think they CAN sing. Ya know??? If I was the parent, friend, relative of someone with no talent who wanted to try out for AI, I would be honest with them and would tell them not to go make a fool of themselves on national TV
