Avo-tastic!

So the next stop on Friday was the annual Avocado Festival in downtown Carpenteria. We we so looking forward to it and were hoping that iy would be better than the cherry festival. And it was! We got there early and were meeting my parents after their dentist appointments so after we walked through once we took a walk out to the beach which was only a block or so away. I had never been to Carp during the day and I fell in love with this gorgeous little beach town. I want to buy our next house there (if this damn house ever sells!)

The Phi pushing her own stroller along the sand. Actually she was trying to get away from the water. Once a wave lapped her feet she was out of there, stoller and all. I can't blame her the freezing SB water does take some getting use to.

The cherry festival didnt have a cool banner!

Looks like a nice scoop of mint ice cream right? Wrong! That is a scoop of avocado ice cream. It tastes like it sounds. Like cold creamy guacamole. Yum!
