The Getting Ready Part

So the morning of the wedding was finally here and I had a 9am hair appointment. I was excited about the day and all the anxiety was already gone. I was happy and ready to get the show on the road. So with my trusty photographer/cousin Rosie, we headed to the hair salon. You know how sometimes you get a hairdresser who is dull and doesn't say anything the whole time, well I was very happy to have the opposite. Liv was awesome. She was funny and fast. In about an hour she had my hair looking great, tiara and all.

Next came make-up. Lucky me, my cousin Vanessa is a make-up artist. She she was gracious enough to come to my Moms early and do my make-up. And she even did my sisters. Now make-up is still pretty foreign to me, but Vanni made me look great. Even got rid of the bags under my eyes. 1 year of motherhood has left some scars!

Then came the dress. I was a little nervous because I had not tried it on in months and well you never know. But it fit perfectly. My sisters helped with all the tying and zipping.

And of course, The Phi had to be the cutest person in the wedding. We had to wake her from her nap to get her ready in time, but she was happy and excited for the day too!
