Bridal Shower Weekend

What a great weekend. I forgot how fun and funny the women in my life can be. My sisters and Rosie took me out to dinner at this amazing fondue place. It was so good. Here was what I was drinking. It was called a "Tispy Turtle"

Now the cheese was excellent, but Elaine has never met a cheese that she didn't like and I think I have to agree with her. And even though the food was amazing the dessert was beyond amazing. This people is our chocolate. It was called Yin and Yang. It was dark chocolate and white chocolate.

And not only did we get some amazing chocolate, these are the plates of goodies that they gave us to dip into the chocolate. It had cheesecake, chocolate and graham cracker covered marshmellows, pineapple, banana, strawberries, pound cake and the best was the brownie bites. There are no words to describe how amazingly good the brownie dipped in chocolate was.

The night was spent with my sisters, Rosie and Tia Mary playing categories and drinking Summer in a Glass out of our pimp cups that Elaine bought and decorated just for that night. They even had cute napkins and drink stirrers with big diamond rings on the end. We even had pink playing cards. The game was fun (that game is always fun). I havent laughed so hard in a long time. The next day, bright and early was my bridal shower. My Tias and cousins showed up and we ate and played some really fun games. I usually dread those kinds of things but these were fun. We had a guessing game where people drew a name of a famous person and had to give one sentence as a clue and who ever got the most right won. That was great just to see my Mom get up, shake her butt and say "Shake your Bon Bon"! We played a game where you got points for having certain things in your purse. Then I left the room and people had to name as many things that I had on. Patty, (who won), got creative and even named my contacts and Sophia because I was carrying her. Then there was this game where I was blindfolded and a suitcase was placed in front of me. The idea was that it was our first night of our honeymoon and all the electricty went out and I had to get ready for our romantic night in the dark. So I had fish nets, a bra, underwear, slippers, lipstick, a hat and i cant even remember what else to put on. All while blindfolded. It was a lot of fun! The last thing was they had called and asked Joey a bunch of questions and then I had to guess what he answered. I got most of them right! This was the amazing food spread. There were evem mimosas!!! After that we had a Pleasure Party. Kind of like a tupperware party but instead of tupperware its massgae oils and such. Sorry I am going to have to leave those details out, but those that were there know how much fun we had!

And of course The Phi got in on all the fun.

Yes, the melting pot is a great place to hangout and eat. The desert is amazing, as you know I'm not a big desert person at all but I was grubbing on the desert and made sure nothing was left. I'm glad you had a great weekend. Tommy Ma

mmmmmmm....Melting Pot! I recognized the dessert tray. I've never seen the Yin Yang fondue - we usually get dark chocolate with Chambord.
