Validation

 Last friday as I was stepping out of my insanely hot shower I saw this....

And despite the fact that only a few days earlier I had spent hours cleaning the bathroom, it made me happy. Because when it comes to parenting in this social media blogging era it is easy to measure your parenting skills against the lives of others. But for me there are only 2 people whose opinion on how I parent matter.

If I can raise them to be good, kind hearted people and still get messages like this then I know we are doing a damn good job.

So I wrote her back. 

Because messages like this are way more important than clean mirrors.
