Fire Watchers

It is only June and already we have had a second big fire in our area. This one was really really big. Its been burning for over a week and has consumed almost 4000 acres. It has cost close to 10 million to fight and is still only about 78% contained. Last week while out getting gas we found a spot to see the helicopters filling up. We pulled over and watched for a little while. The Phi waved at the helicopter pilot and he waved back.

I happened to have my camera handy.

Big props to all the brave firemen out there.
