How To Cram A Week's Worth of Spring Break Fun into One Day

Last week The Phi had a week off from school for Spring Break. The weather was nice and warm and poor Phi spent most of the week stuck at the office with me. On Wednesday I took a half day and The Phi and I went to the little local movie theater to watch "How To Train Your Dragon". The Phi LOVED the movie.

So PR Dad and I were feeling bad that The Phi spent most of her Spring Break at the office so on Friday we both took the day off to let The Phi do whatever she wanted to do. It took a while for her to decide what she wanted to do.

Our first stop was mini-golf!

After 18 holes The Phi was thirsty so we got her a blueberry Icee to cool her down.

After we left mini-golf The Phi wanted to go to "the shops" so we headed to the nearest mall and wandered the stores for a while. We let her go into the Disney Store and check out all the Twinkle Toe Sketchers. We built up an appetite and The Phi chose to have an early dinner at John's Incredible Pizza, which is an all-you-can-eat pizza, salad, pasta and dessert buffet with different themed rooms. The Phi stocked up on 3 cheese pizza and fruit punch and settled into the "Toon Room". Big overstuffed furniture with bright colors and lots of TV screens playing cartoons. After filling our bellies we headed over to the game room area. We loaded up our game card and let The Phi loose.

She played ski ball...

She shot some hoops....

She raced some cars....

She played her Dad at air hockey....

She beat her Dad at air hockey.....

Her last request was a trip to Target (she is so our daughter) where she had a blast trying on dresses with me.

I think we succeed in cramming a weeks worth of fun into one fun-filled day.
