Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!! We are sunny Santa Barbara and thank goodness that the drive yesterday was not too bad. Just your usual 5pm traffic. We made it to SB and me and Mom took a quick shopping trip for some last minute things (including shoes for The Phi!) This morning I helped Mom with her 20 pounds of mashed potatoes, since I am the expert who made them last year. She had been watching a lot of food network and made them garlic mashed potatoes. She thinks they are too garlic-y but they tasted fine to me. And my sweet potatoes go in the oven in about an hour. We are heading to 2 dinners today, so of course a lot of driving, but always always worth it. The Phi will be wearing a frilly dress so of course there will be pictures to follow!
Be thankful today. I am thankful for my family, and my friends.
