2006

Well 2005 is about to end. No doubt that this was a memorable year for the Gomez/Lerma family. I mean we became a family this year. Everyone tells you how having a baby changes everything. Well they are so right. Our lives have both changed dramtically and have also stayed pretty much the same since Sophia has entered the picture. I mean we do the same things we use to do. Visit the same people, watch the same TV shows, go to malls all the time, now it just takes twice as long to go anywhere and we have a bedtime and bath schedule to think about. Sophia has made our lives richer than we could ever have imagined. I don't think Joey has ever felt the love that he has for Sophia. It is so obvious in his face when he looks at her. No matter what when she smiles at him he always smiles back. And I am lucky because despite my complaining Joey is a very good Dad. And despite my complaining I love my daughter more than I ever thought possible. I am looking forward to 2006 where we will finally baptize Sophia, throw her first birthday party and hopefully get married. It promises to be a great year for our family.

I want to wish all of you a wonderful New Year. If you read this blog then no doubt you are an importnat part of our lives. We love our friends and family very much and are thankful to have you all in our lives. (Especially Tommyma) Rosie and Tommyma are on their way up to celebrate the new year with us. We will toast to all of our friends and family and hope that 2006 is the best year for the Gomez, Lerma, Watt and Garcia families.
